Take the money and run

I cashed out most of my Pokerstars bankroll. A cheque for $US5500 left Paris via Fedex, briefly passed through Guangzhou, arrived the following day in Alexandria (Sydney) then a few hours later was waiting in my mail tray at work. If there's one thing about Stars, the cash outs are super speedy and professional. The cheque cleared immediately and is now a small drop in the ocean which is my mortgage.

The main reason for cashing out was the Aussie dollar dropping 10c against the US. I wasn't comfortable having that amount of money sitting in a poker site (as reputable as it might be) and the exchange rate change was all the convincing I needed. Added to this the UIEGA was days away from enforcement.

Right now grinding online cash games is on hold. I may make another run at the casino cash games. I haven't been back since the horrible 'Rain Man' session but playing real people is where i get the most enjoyment.
